The Centre has four children’s rooms
| Pooh's Bear | 12 Children | 3 months - 2 years |
| Tigger's Room | 12 Children | 18mths – 2.5 yrs |
| Eeyore's Room | 12 Children | 2.5 – 3.5 yrs |
| Piglet's Room | 20 Children | 3-5 yrs |
Each room is appropriately equipped with toys and furnishings to suit the developmental age and needs of the children.
Activities and experiences are carefully planned to aid learning and achieve the standards of development in EYFS.
Play is the key to young children’s learning. We therefore offer your child plenty of opportunities for purposeful play in a caring and relaxed atmosphere. Our emphasis is on the happiness of each child. We need to ensure that children have positive learning experiences which will build on their self esteem and confidence and enable them to continue their progress.
Development Matters records will be kept on your child’s progress and you are very welcome to see these records and talk to staff about your child’s progress at a mutually agreeable time. We have an annual Open Day for all parents to visit and talk to the staff. Eeyores and Piglets have a further two open afternoons during the year.
Each room has an area where children can sleep/rest, parents of younger children will need to discuss with staff any daily sleep routines.
All children need to bring a change of clothes and any necessary nappies and wipes, (we are able to store some nappies and wipes in Pooh bears and Tiggers rooms).
We have a Parent/Carer Policy which cover many other areas of nursery practice including accidents/medication and daily feed back to parents. You will receive this with a ‘Parent Pack’ when you join the Centre.
Our staff are always there to provide a good role model for your child, to be sensitive to their individual needs, to develop positive behaviour, to encourage and support their learning in all areas and to respect and value each child as an individual.
